There are three functional updates of which to be aware.
- Addition of “Office location” designator on each form
Each form now has an “office location” designator, allowing you to document in which office you are.
- Submit Button Change Indicator
We have noticed that several users have experienced issues from clicking the “Submit” button multiple times. Now, when you click on the “submit” button, the button will change from “submit” to “processing” to prevent duplicate submissions of forms.
- Addition of “Modifier Codes” box
This is an OPTIONAL FEATURE. We have added this section to our forms to allow us to integrate with new Practice Management Software systems. To turn the “modifier codes” box on, you will need to add modifiers to your profile. You can do that by:
- Clicking on My Desk
- Choosing Edit My Profile, and
- Clicking on the Default Info link
- As you scroll through this page, you will see a blank box called “Procedure Modifier Codes”.
- Type the modifier codes that you use into this box in the following format: 22 Very unusual procedure.
- Once you have typed the modifiers in, scroll to the top of the page and click on the Submit Profile link. This will activate the “Modifier Codes” box in your forms.
To use the “modifier codes” box in your forms, click on the appropriate procedure code. Then, if a modifier applies to that procedure, highlight the modifier. Click on the add button. Both the code and modifier number will appear in the procedure summary box.
